THE PRODUCT
Elite Serum Rx anti-aging eye cream/gel, $89.95.
THE GOOD
I really love the way Elite Serum Rx is dispensed. Think of it as an injection-needle type of device, and where the needle would be is a small opening. You depress the tube’s mechanism (caution: do it slowly), and out comes the gel. It’s very sanitary.
The serum sinks right into your skin, leaving no residue whatsoever.
You only need a little bit of Elite Serum Rx to do both eyes; it really does last a long, long time.
With some eye creams that are in tubes or bottles, I sometimes find that if you haven’t used it in a couple of days, you end up with a few millimetres of thick gunk that has dried a bit and clogged up the “pathway.” This has never happened even once with Elite Serum Rx, which means there’s no waste.
THE GAFFE
I didn’t really notice a difference under or around my eyes while using Elite Serum Rx. Sure, it felt nice but I didn’t see any significant reduction in fine lines and the blueish tint under my eyes didn’t seem to diminish either. I gave a second bottle to my mom, who’s in her 60s, and she didn’t report anything miraculous either. She’s sticking with her Hollywood Eye Magic!
Even though it will last a long time, the upfront cost is expensive. To put it in perspective, my favourite eye cream of all time (Kiehl’s avacado eye cream), which lasts nearly as long, is only $35.
