I’ve always loved to travel, and this year we’ve managed to take our kids to some pretty exciting destinations. Hopefully, I’m passing along the travel bug to them, too. There’s nothing like creating family memories through travel.
But what kind of travel planner are you?
The way I see it, there are two distinct types of travellers: those who like to plan every trip from beginning to end with a level of minutia that would make the Secret Service look sloppy; and those who like to entrust their vacation co-ordination to professionals so they can sit back, relax and simply pack for the itinerary they’re given.
If you fall into the latter category, you’re going to love learning more about Trafalgar’s Family Experiences. From jungle treks through Costa Rica to island-hopping in Greece to living it up on a dude ranch, Trafalgar’s carefully planned travel experiences offer hands-off planning for the “big stuff” with built-in flexibility so you don’t have to eat, sleep and play with everyone who’s taking the same guided vacation 24/7.
There were two things that caught my eye when I was checking out Trafalgar’s website: first, you’re provided with the services of a professional travel director throughout your journey. And second, all hotel service charges and tips, baggage handling fees and local taxes included. That last part is something that always trips me up when I’m budgeting. There are other perks, too, like VIP entry to many of the sights; handpicked accommodations that are always four or five stars; and breakfast provided for every day of your trip (along with a few lunches and dinners, too!).
