A few weeks ago when we were invited to do an unboxing video of Rainbow Dazzle Minnie for Disney Junior, my kids and I sat down to decide how it would play out. Would The K Man and Miss Q be in it together while I filmed? Would Miss Q do it on her own?
The K Man was adamant that he film Miss Q and me, so we set up the iPad on our coffee table, and agreed that he would press start and stop and otherwise be a silent bystander, sitting still while Miss Q and I did our thing.
It didn’t quite go as planned, so we did a take two and I posted the “clean” video.
But it’s been nagging at me ever since.
Because it wasn’t real. It wasn’t us. It didn’t show the interruptions, the raw and unrehearsed conversation, the little hand across the camera lens, and me being a typical Type A mom trying desperately to shut her kid up while maintaining a smile for the camera. So this morning, I deleted the take-two unboxing video and replaced it with the original:

I totally agree with your decision and truly enjoyed watching your “real” video.
