What do The Next Step Dancers, Sabrina Carpenter, The Vamps, Josh Bogert, Mckenzie Small, Aviva and Taveeta have in common? Well, not only do my kids know who all of them are (and I don’t) but they’re also ALL performing live at this summer’s Big Ticket Concert.
In what’s become an annual, not-to-be-missed event, Family Channel’s lineup this year is so stellar that when I asked my kids if they wanted to go, they did that jumping-up-and-down thing, each tugging on one of my arms, and started squealing that kind of noise that makes it hard to discern what kind of animal is in distress.
Coming to the Budweiser Stage in Toronto on Sunday, August 27, tickets start at just $19.25 per person. I don’t ever recall being able to get tickets to anything for my kids for less than 20 bucks. Especially not a concert.
If you want to amp up the whole experience, you can also go for seats in the 100s, which are really close to the stage; they start at $153 per ticket.
No matter which ticket you buy, there’s also an option to purchase an add-on VIP upgrade. It’s $100 per person and it sounds pretty fun if you’ve got die-hard fans in your house. From meet-and-greets and photo opps with Mckenzie Small, Aviva, Josh Bogert, and Taveeta and artists from The Next Step, to a VIP-exclusive limited-edition poster, it sounds like you’d really get your money’s worth.
I can’t even remember the last concert we went to as a family — The Wiggles, maybe? And that would have been at least four years ago. So I’m pretty pumped to introduce my kids to the likes of a music festival but in a really safe setting where I know there won’t be anything inappropriate.
So go grab your tickets before they’re gone and join us!
DISCLAIMER: DHX Media is providing tickets for my family to attend the Big Ticket Concert in exchange for my support promoting the event. I’m legitimately excited to go!
