PC and PC Home Holiday goodies

I love the holidays. I don’t care about my birthday or St. Valentine’s Day or any other real or concocted day. But I can’t get enough of the holidays. From trimming the tree to baking shortbread, we do it up big at our house. So I was pretty stoked when a big box arrived this week from President’s Choice. The kids were immediately smitten with the PC Candy Cane “Eat the Middle First” Cookies, and recognized the PC Red Velvet Cake mix because we’ve made it a couple times before (great as cupcakes!). I’ve been wanting to make the PC Home cookie tree for a couple of years, and now I absolutely have to. And I’ll be using the ceramic-look-but-totally-unbreakable-melamine mixing bowl and measuring cups to do it! I’m saving the new PC Sea Salt and Toffee Chocolate yummies for my cheat day this weekend. OK, maybe I’ll be trying a bit of everything for the best cheat day ever…

  9. PC Red Velvet Cake looks yummy… and just think, add a little green food colouring to your icing… and it is sooo Christmasy!

  97. I love baking, especially over the holidays, but it seems to me that without the proper equipment things never turn out quite right.
    In any case, these treats and supplies look great – I’m especially interested in the snowflake cutters 🙂

  115. I really want to try some of their new gluten free items (which I realize are not in the photo) and then review them on my Lucy’s Gluten Free Adventures page. My family on the other hand would probably love to try “Eat the Middle First” cookies.

  143. i love mint oreos so the eat the candy cane middle firsts is top of my holiday shopiing list and since I also love to bake cookies the cookie Christmas tree is another thing I’ve been wanting as well.
