THE PRODUCT
My Eco-Friendly Bib from Perlimpinpin.
THE GOOD
- Made from corn, these bibs are completely compostable; just toss them into your green bin when you’re done
- Easy to use – you just separate the top, peel the backing off a small sticker and stick one side to the other to close it up
- Fits every kid I’ve tried – from 14 months to nearly 5 years old
- Makes a great placemat at places like the zoo if you need to eat at a picnic table that only gets washed when it rains
- Cute, gender-neutral designs
- Folds up into nothing – you could fit it into the tiniest purse if you needed to
THE GAFFE
- $19.99 for 15 bibs works out to 75 cents per bib; unless you’re travelling and have no way to wash a reusable bib, I think this is a bit cost-prohibitive
- In fact, other than road trips and other travel, I’m not sure why you’d use a disposable bib – but for those purposes, this is really a fabulous option
