I’m loving this new online boutique called Lil’ Monkey Cheeks. It houses safe, clean brands that you’ll feel good about using on and around your kids. I had the opportunity to try out three products from The Laundry Tarts‘ line, and overall I was really impressed. I swapped out my Nelly’s Dryer Balls for these Tumbler Tarts Dryer Balls (three-pack, $30.99) and love that they’re unscented and pure wool — no plastic! You don’t need more than three, so just start with one pack despite the recommendation of using up to six. I have a HUGE dryer and three is just fine. The Sweet Spot Stain Remover Bar ($4.99) really wowed me; it quickly and easily washed away some pretty nasty stains and we will be buying this over our trusty Baby OxyClean from now on. The only thing I wasn’t as hot on was The Laundry Tarts Detergent Sampler ($2.49). While the small pack was enough to do three loads of laundry, I didn’t find that it got my clothes as clean as other detergents (even “natural” ones). That, and the key lime smell wasn’t very lime-y. Perhaps it works best in warm or hot water but now that we’re out of cloth diapers, I only use cold water to wash our clothes. Click here to enter the contest to win everything you see!
I haven’t used a natural laundry soap yet but I would love to try it, I’ve always been hesitant if it would work as well as the large brand names, thank you for the chance.

I don’t use dryer sheets because of the chemicals. I throw a cloth with essential oils on it in after the clothes are dry and run the dryer on cool for 5 minutes. My clothes smell great, but are full of static!

I’ve been making my own laundry soap for a year now. loving it. I use a bar of ivory soap in it and now my clothes remind me of being clean out of the shower. I’m not big into strong scents from detergents so it suits me fine to have the subtle soap smell. so many recipies on pinterest and I find it’s not much harder then boiling an egg. as melting the bar of soap in water is the most time consuming part.

Im not gonna lie, I only use natural laundry products when I dont have to pay for them. Otherwise I have to choose the cheap option. Not because I want to but because I just cant afford the alternatives.

I use Nelly’s powder for some stuff. Have used a few others like seventh generation and nature clean but didn’t find they got my kids clothes as clean. Would definitely like to try the stain stick cause I go through a LOT of the baby oxiclean and would definitely switch to a natural product if it works just as well.

I have not yet tried natural laundry products as I was not sure if clothes would get as clean as my regular detergent and I too only use cold water for laundry as I have sanitize on my dryer if needed.

I don’t normally use natural detergent in the laundry, though I have recently received samples of Seventh Generation…can’t wait to try those. I am trying to be more green when cleaning the house, so laundry products are just the next step.

I use Method detergent which I think has better ingredients than most laundry detergents although not perfect. I also have a Smart Klean laundry ball that I rotate with detergent. I have to say that both products work ok but I’m still looking for that perfect product.

I would love to try the stain bar and dryer balls. I’ve been using the Laundry Tarts detergent for a while and I admit it’s not my fave natural detergent, but the rest of their products intrigue me all the same!

I am using dryer wool balls that work really well at cutting down my dryer time, static cling and makes your clothes less wrinkled, I also am going to be trying to make my own soaps and cleaners, thank you:)

never used natural laundry detergent… never really thought about it as I’m happy with Tide and such. I guess I just haven’t come across any natural detergent in my shopping. Great fragrance is important to me

I would love to put the stain bar to the test. We do the wool dryer ball thing currently which I like for making clothes fluffy and cutting down on dryer time but the static is awful this time of year so I find I still need to cheat and use 1/2 a dryer sheet.

I would love to try Laundry Tarts! Right now, I use a mainstream “natural” detergent, but know I can do better!
