We’ve had an Elf on the Shelf since The K Man was two years old; his name is Mr. The Elf, courtesy of said two year old. Then we added Sparkles that year we couldn’t find Mr. The Elf and it was November 30 at 10:30 p.m. and Big B ran out to get one so we didn’t disappoint our kids on December 1. (Of course we found Mr. The Elf two days later…)
I have a love/hate relationship with the Elf on the Shelf. I love creating fun memories and nurturing the Christmas magic during what I know is a fleeting moment of time in my kids’ lives. I hate coming up with new ideas every night.
So I did what I’d do in just about every other situation: I made a list.
So here, I give you Elf on the Shelf ideas to take you from Dec. 1 to 25! You can bookmark this page, download the free printable or PIN either of the images below…whatever works.
PRO TIP: Set a recurring alarm on your smartphone for an hour or two after your kiddos are in bed or you’ll probably forget to do the Elf thing every night. Because life.
