Big B is your official guest reviewer today…even if you-know-who is doing all the typing. I love my man with some serious scruff, but he likes short back-and-sides on his head and tries to be clean-shaven as often as possible. He’s a big fan of hot shaves but doesn’t get them as much as he…

Dyson DC43 Animal upright vacuum cleaner (guest review)
This guest reviewer happens to be a long-time work pal, Kat Hanley. She’s a 30-something mom to one four-legged Golden Retriever, Sydney; both live in Toronto and Sydney has his own Facebook page. For real. And I’m “friends” with him. ************************************************************ Andrea and I work at the same PR firm in Toronto and I’ve been…
Samsung GALAXY Note3 & GALAXYGear on the TELUS network

Shark Sonic DUO (mini-review)
THE PRODUCT The Shark Sonic Duo carpet, tile & hardwood floor cleaner ($299.99 — on sale as of 12/1/13 at Canadian Tire for $229.99!). THE GOOD If you own Berber carpets, and you’ve had anything fall on or be otherwise smushed into them, you know that it’s darn near impossible to get stains out of…
HP Slate 7 tablet (guest review)
When HP’s PR agency asked me if I had any “older adults” in my life who would like the convenience of a tablet with an extremely easy-to-use platform, I volunteered my parents to test out the HP Slate 7 tablet. My Dad has been the primary user, and wrote the below review, so let me give…
